These successes have made the Kingdom a global destination sought by the world, and it would not have been achieved without the Kingdom’s adoption of rapid technological development and innovation, which achieves its goals in this vital sector. The Kingdom paid early attention to e-sports, from the launch of Vision 2030, not to mention its importance, which is beloved by millions around the world. The Kingdom was keen to spread these sports to various cultures, and this interest was personally translated by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, by launching the National Strategy for E-sports, before His Highness launched the E-sports World Cup, in which Saudi teams achieved impressive results, by obtaining top positions, which greatly contributed to promoting tourism, diversifying the economy, and developing promising sectors.

Our state, since the dawn of its blessed era, through a network of communication and supply chains, and since its establishment by King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – who laid the foundation for change and improved the quality of life for everyone living in this blessed country, that foundation stone has been followed by his loyal sons who continued construction, development, and growth in all fields.
